Building Dreams with Code: My Journey as Founder & Lead Developer at Emore Systems

Hi, I’m Nicholus Munene, a passionate software developer, trainer, and problem solver. I’m the founder and lead developer of Emore Systems, a company dedicated to crafting smart, practical, and user-friendly digital solutions. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across industries, building scalable software, mentoring future developers, and solving complex technical challenges.

The Beginning

My journey into technology started with curiosity—an eagerness to understand how software powers the world around us. That curiosity grew into a calling when I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at the Technical University of Kenya.

During my academic years and early career, I honed my skills in varied software programming technologies not limited to PHP, LARAVEL and VUEJS , allowing me to become versatile in both front-end and back-end development. That adaptability became the foundation of my work in entrepreneurship, training, and consulting.

Professional Experience

Senior Developer (Contract) – Digital for Africa, Nairobi

November 2024 – May 2025 (6 months)

At Digital for Africa, I was responsible for high-level integration solutions and error resolution for GA Insurance.

This role sharpened my ability to deliver under pressure in production-sensitive environments while optimising enterprise systems for scale.

Full-Stack Trainer – Institute of Software Technologies, Nairobi

February 2023 – Present (2 yrs 7 mos)

As a Full-Stack Trainer, I design, deliver, and refine training programs to prepare the next generation of developers for the job market.
